In reality, it is pretty easy! Martha\u2019s Vineyard is not connected to the mainland by tunnels or bridges, so the only way to get there is by boat or plane. Service also exists from NY and Northern NJ, although that trip will take a full 5 hours. There are a few smaller ferry services leaving from Falmouth.
