Agents answer questions in person and on the phone, provide information, process new and change reservations, and demonstrate exceptional customer service skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left has-overline-font-size\">Essential Duties and Responsibilities:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">Demonstrates excellent customer service, on phone and in- person, making, changing, or confirming reservations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">Manages reservations and issues tickets using specialized software.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">Demonstrates competence in use of reservation software and phone system.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">Demonstrates knowledge of pricing and coding.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">Accurately reconciles ticket sales and receipts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">Responds appropriately to comments or complaints and resolves as best as possible to the satisfaction of the customer.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">Manage passenger issues relating to reservations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">Stays focused while multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment where distractions are a natural part of the work area<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left has-overline-font-size\">Other Duties<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">Maintains a general knowledge of other services and activities on the island.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">Other duties as needed or requested.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left has-overline-font-size\">Licenses, Registrations, and\/or Certifications:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">None<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left has-overline-font-size\">Required Education and Experience:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Enrolled in high school or similar secondary education, or high school diploma or equivalent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left has-overline-font-size\">Typical Work Environments:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Ticket agents work indoors but with potential exposure to outside elements. May also be asked to help outdoors and use a handheld barcode scanner to assist crew boarding passengers.
